Yes, I know about the female turian in the 'Omega' DLC, and yes, I am rejecting the apparent fact that fem turian's have no fringes. F- to that, my turian fems are keeping their fringes (don't want to get in Nyla's rant crossairs about 'losing' her beautiful fringe either...<.< >.>). Of course, I do apply other aspects of the 'official' fem turian design (though I won't bother redesigning Nyla on that aspect...for similiar reasons ).
So there's two fem characters that are in my Buried Secrets fic: Lusca has shown up already, but Elpida won't 'debue' for some time. I'm not completely satisfied with Lusca's colony markings, both design and color wise *wishes there was more 'official' information about them* Oh and Elpida does have a sirname, but I am keeping that to myself for now.
And FUUUUU about other things I learned in the Omega DLC (via the wiki anyway: my brother hasn't DLed any ME 3 DLC since the EC). Namely the additional info about biotic Turians and their roles. I may be able to work around it (so Mylos isn't whining over a complete non-issue), or I may have to ignore it like the fringeless females....
Ha ha, agreed about the first statement, it's just wrong, brrrr. This look is a lot better. In fact these two ladies are downright pretty if you ask me. Espescially Elpida. Looking forward to making their acquaitainces (so to speak) shortly!
Ah yes, the infamous Nyreen... yeah, I was talking with Skyward recently, we both agree on keeping fringes on the Turian ladies. Nyreen can just be like the "Saren" of the females as of now...
Liking the design here, though. Their feminity seems a bit more emphasized, which is good.
Isn't it rather odd that while (according to canon) Turians have total gender equality...and yet we only ever saw the guys in the games(until Omega)? Me thinks the devs just got lazy (and didn't want to just slap a pair of boobs on the fems).

(now if only 343 would use some logic in their design choices...molars on their mandibles? Seriously?)
Agreed. As for my interpretation of 'Heili, I'm sticking with the Halo 2/3-esque type of look.
